    stupid white wall, still sitting on the side of the road. got another set coming, hopefully it doesn't happen again. may have the muffler on this weekend and hopefully a new clutch to match

    Saw you a few weeks back going down West Trc, spotted the slammed bright blue MK1 a mile away!!
    What sus you running, coils?

    was wondering when it would be, should be able to make it. nothing but the best here, chopped springs all round. don't have the money for coilovers right now, wouldn't mind a cheap set of lowered springs for now though.

    hey mate, LOVE the mk1.. check mine out! very similar hey where did you get the white walls??? was it just a strip that is adheared to the side of existing tyres? oh and do you have the stock shocks in your beast with chopped coils???

    they're white wall inserts, got them off ebay from somebody in cyprus and the new ones are from turkey. they just sit between the tyre and the rim, it's a bitch to break the bead though. stock shocks, all my cars are done on the budget side of things. i have an aircooled t3 being painted right now and this is supposed to be a run around but can't help spending money on it. it's a disease i tell yah.

    cheers josh, yours is pretty nice to like the flares. did you just paint them on or are they the actual flare kit

    Looks good dude. Paint the rims silver and it will give more contrast to the wheels. It'll look sweet as then i reckon.

    You can get them from Antique Tyres. They're made by Atlas. You can also buy Atlas white walls from Mooneyes USA. Moon will be cheaper but you have to get them shipped here.

    That's the brand of the ones i was using and i did about about 20,000kms on them, including 2 trips to Melbourne and many trips to Sydney!
