    Mk3 GTI 16v

Time to share my car here, it's a Mk3 Golf GTI (16v ABF) in Black Magic
Owned her now for 4 years, and gotta say I'm loving it as it sits now

    - SSR 3 piece Mesh 16" wheels (ET27 and ET17 8" all round)
    - H&R Coilovers
    - OEM Vento front end
    - Remus back box and tips
    - Eurosport strutbrace
    - K&N panel filter - swiss cheese box
    - German plates
    - Anniversary GTI shift knob
    - Midnight Express 35% tints
    - Mk3.5 Steering wheel
    - Alpine 9887 head unit
    - Atomic Manhattan sub with a Hennie special box
    - Infinity Kappa 60.7cs components
    - e Audio amp powering sub
    - Alpine amp powering components

Things possibly in the pipeline for 2009:
    - Tints - done
    - Strut brace - done
    - New car - done (bought a Mk4 GTI and then sold again lol)

    Most recent photos:

    As of Sept 2010

    Other things in the pipeline
    - a rework of the front end, Vento front maybe (done)
    - get it lower at the front! (done)

    Things on the drawing board:
    - build a new car......!

Can't fit all the photos in, so for a better time line see here: http://www.vask.org.nz/index.php/top...html#msg166582

Welcome to the forums, and very nice example you have there! I'm always surprised to see so many nice aftermarket goodies on NZ Mk3s, like the Zender sideskirts and ABT front lip and Hella Dual Rounds. They fetch some decent money! Do you guys have distributors there, or just import them in from overseas?

Yea audio install is very neat and hidden if I don't say so myself. Sub moulded into the side of the boot, amps under the back seats, cables in the sills.

For the size of the country I would say there is pretty decent support for VW's. We have a couple distributors for after market VW parts, I would say they specialise more in performance parts rather then styling though

I actually vacuumed it the day prior to those photos

Only other thing I would really like to do to it is lower the front a tad more, but that would mean I have to buy new springs and I can't be bothered at the mo!

Thought I would dig this out of the ground and bump it to the top - lots of changes happened over the past year or so
