Couple of new parts ordered this week:

- Neuspeed turbo discharge pipe (goes from turbo to intercooler inlet and replaces the stock pipe which varies in shape and size)
- BSH intake throttle pipe (goes from outlet of intercooler to the throttle body and replaces the stock pipe which is plastic and oval in shape)

Couple of little updates

Recently bought the black OEM radiator bottle cap and got the black radiator cap to match.



Fitted the Neuspeed Discharge Pipe the other day:





Still waiting for my new BSH intake throttle pipe from DubAddiction to arrive from the USA. Hopefully will have that in a few weeks. It has the water meth bungs which is something i am considering installing on the car in the future.

Took the Golf for a spin down the Old Pacific Highway yesterday and had a great time. Just went by myself - no one else to worry about that way. Haven’t driven the car like that in a long time which really got me excited about the car again. The way it just shoots out of 3rd gear corners is addictive…..so much grip and so much torque.

Chased a silver Scirocco R one way and then chased a modified white Evo VII on the way back. The guy in the Evo wasn’t at all shy to give it the beans through the bends, and I felt it would have been rude of me not to do so as well >D. Couldn’t wipe the grin off my face the whole time. Brakes are awesome, grip is awesome (bit of understeer if you go in too hard) and so confidence inspiring after coming from a very tail happy 200sx previously, and the car has so much power now that it just loves those sweeping 3rd gear corners when the majority of the time you are in the peak torque band of 3,000-5,000rpm.

Loving my car right now. Spent 2hrs washing and vacuuming it once i got back home and its now where it belongs....in the garage with a car cover on it. I'll have to de-tar it and give it a polish this week too.
