Well ordered some more bits for the engine, timing belt kit, waterpump, gaskets etc. Also found a german company making this top mount manifold...
To replace this
turbo should end up in roughly the same spot, will just need to clock the compressor housing a bit. Any one have tips on this? Is it as simple as unbolting the housing, repositioning it then bolting it back up?

haha not much to update, just waiting on what should be the last lot of the parts to arrive. no word on where the manifold isUpdate. then its just a matter of getting jimmy to slot me in....im contemplating giving mike weber a call but i really don't want anyone but jmac working on it

He is testing one at the moment.

does look nice i only see bottom mounts though.
looks like it'd be a pain in the ass to fit though!
