After months of nothing, I decided to do something. Picked up some budget JOM coilovers from ze Germans and made a day of installing them (which was trickier than initially expected!). Although I've got nothing to compare it too, the ride comfort is actually fine at the moment. Sitting 130mm from the ground, minor scrubbing when i pull a u-turn, though a little bouncy.

    Failed the shoe test

    Now:

Also picked up some vinyl eyelids; thoughts?

Prob scrubbing on the inside, either throw some spacers in or dont use full lock.
not a fan of the eye lids personally, but thats just me

Looks clean in the new shots!

Yeah, I thought I'd try them out for a week, but still not too sure about them. They were inexpensive though, so no biggie if I decide to take them off.

    yeah easy to swap back.

if your looking to do something different with the headlights can I suggest a half joey mod? (just around the outside piece, not the background piece with the reflectors) I think that will work wonders with the black grilles and number plates.

That does look nice. I'll have to have a hunt around for a proper DIY, cheers Dylan!

Not a fan of the eyelid, cause I can still see black between the eyelid and the bonnet.

Car looks super clean, and much nicer dropped!

Its pretty easy, and no taping etc if only doing the half which means no chance of damaging the reflector

Haha, we were out doing a shoot that night when these girls literally crashed their car in front of us, hopped out and decided to start "modelling"...

I'll try out the Joey mod this week sometime, I'm wanting to paint/vinyl the B Pillars in gloss black as well.
