haha dont worry Geoff both of us are still in tip top condition

i probably should talk about the whole foaming thing now...
i cleaned my GTI yesterday at my mates place... he is a professional car detailer and he has a new fangled foamer gun system that will clean your car without the need to touch it. this means no risk of swirls and scratches whilst being very wax friendly.

it gets about 90% of everything off. some of the caked on crap like bug poo still sticks. when its in that foam state you give it a quick once over with a soft lambs wool mit.
all i used there was the Dodo juice wash.. nothing strong at all! the whole idea of the foamer is to gently lift the dirt and crud off the paint by lubricating the surface. when you rinse it with a gentle high pressure washer all the dirt falls off

i was skeptical when my mate first told me about it.. but seeing it in use it really works.. and bloody well!

Yeah I love those foam washers, I've always wanted one heheh.. Do you know how expensive they are to buy, if you can buy them at all Mark?

Car looks fantastic too Best colour for your golf by far..... I'm not biased, I swear!

Niccce. I love those foam guns. The detailers in the UK and US are fanatical about them. If we didn't have water restrictions I'd have picked one up.

How do you know which parts need to be cleaned with the lambs wool mitt when you car is covered in the foam? Or do you go over the whole car with the mitt?
