To This:
I have owned Honda's for many years now, but always had a soft spot for Golf's. I've now gratuated from Uni and have a job in the city, so i decided to sell the Type R and buy something more economical and comfortable to drive in traffic everyday. It is a 2001 GL, that had one lady owner who kept it in immaculate condition.
Plans for the car:
Not much at all... Just a nice set of wheels, tinted windows and slightly lower it. I don't plan on touching the engine (yet).
I'd like to either get some R32 wheels or these wheels:

Tidy looking GL there. Well done! I ran Konis and Ebaich springs in my mk4 and found that a hell of an improvement. If you are going to fit lower springs I highly reccomend going to some decent shockers. Cheers, Andrew![]()

Caddy van 05/07 (colourcoded) (BRIGHT! orange!) coilovers, Konis 18in. wheels, Oettinger tuned
Nice ride. I have a hot cam for the golf just as soon as you want more revs. Eibach springs are a pucka option with original dampers. I prefer the audi rims over the R32 ones.
Welcome simex. i'm new too but you are on a great forum.
The new car is a nicely sophisticated choice and one that you will enjoy.
Cheers
Thanks guys
