Maybe? I have the R with DP, FMIC, HPFP and S2+ ECU, and of course a DSG, and my car never makes that sound. Unless Pierre has changed the wastegate, it'd be the same in our two cars. I still have the stock "engine cover" air intake and don't have the GIAC Extreme tune, nor the "traditional manual", and very likely other differences, but still the sound is curious to me.
if youre talking about the flutter then it will be because you have the stock intake.

its the vf 3" intake which causes it to flutter. i can make it flutter however it has a mind of its own and tends to do it if your on and off and even at slow speeds with minimal/if any boost really.
I dont mind it, at times i hate it as i dont need to announce i am changing gears lol.
What’s behind you doesn’t matter..
I wonder how it reacts with the DSG changes being only about 8ms etc. Maybe I'll just have to get one to find out, lol![]()
