    Looks like a very clean example - keep it that way mang.

    I remember seeing this for sale a while back - you've definitely improved on the car as it was advertised. Those wheels have grown on me now, especially with the car's new stance. The stripe doesn't seem out of place now, either. The stock tails are definitely the go!

    All you need is the little jack point blank for the left side skirt : )

    I was thinking of getting that as my first car - did he give you the original lights, parts etc.
    but instead i got a '89 GTI 16V for my first car.

    Hey mate,

    Yeah everything original was included in the sale so i put all that on straight away. Nice buy with the 16V too mate. Got to love the mk2's haha

    looks good mate. i'm gonna have to say ditch the tint on the rear window for plain black...
    but besides that it looks really good!!! shame about the tassie plates i think...they seem to look kinda strange compared to other states...IMO. maybe its just because i'm not used to seeing them

    Hey guys,

    Lil update on the gti, ditched the rear tint as requested ( after the cops had a go at me ) and have since fitted a 276 cam and straight through exhaust Here some pics

    super pleased with that roof stripe removal!

    looks pretty clean now!

    lol at getting rid of tint and fitting straight through exhaust.. "officer! i got rid of the tint!!... brrraaaaaaaaaap"

    Hahaha yeah they dont seem to care about the exhaust as much as they do about window tint that could potentially reflect sun into a following driver and obscure their sight Yep stripe gone but the clearcoat with it, need to get roof reclearcoated but i agree, looks so much more cleaner.     i noticed u have the same blue/yellow recaro seats as mine. if you every find fabric for the seat, give us a yell
