    Family Collection

Took some pics of my families VW and Audi collection seeing as we were all together on the weekend. In no particular order; Marty's (twin eng, twin turbs) black Audi A4 1.8T and new blue Passat 2.0T wagon; my silver Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Avant; my dad's Red Mk2 GTI; my grandma's Polo; and the communal Red Mk1 GLS which has been in the family the last 17 years.
Absent were Marty's Mk2 GTI turbo (in the shed getting a new exhaust manifold), and the twin engine Mk1 and Scirocco (both locked away waiting for work).
The Red Mk1 GLS has seen it's fair share of km's now, I think it's about 300k. Currently on it's 2nd engine, running a 1.8 with ported head, 32/36 Weber, GTI cam and exhaust manifold, custom exhaust, Neuspeed springs, GTI brakes etc. It's a ripper.

ha, well it's a twin engine mk1 with a turbo for each engine; a twin engine A4, that'd be something else!

Yeah the mk1 is underated for sure, its my daily driver but has enough punch to just pin a VR6 up to 120kph.
