    Edison's two very old Mk1's

Heres a pic of the white diesel going back from the mechanic, photo from the red petrol auto..
The white one I got in Brisbane, copped $900 in fines bringing it back..argh! but it sat under a house up there two years, and then I drove it back! don't U just the reliability of a VW?

and here is the little red one...

Did you drive the white one down on a permit? How did they track you down?

Good to see you have fixed the window on the red car.

Argh! there were replies i didn't notice...
Umm, they pulled me over on the highway and gave me $900 in tickets which was so illegal and unjust, still fighting them... no permit, but there are plenty of reasons why you can drive it anyhoo..
In that pic ou can see the old window on the other side...
Worm, it took a battery...Lol., but he did show me how to bleed the injectors by demonstration too... and maybe we messed with some rubber tubes...

post script, the 900 was reduced to 450 and then with me turning up and pissing off the judge it went down to 265 total and me and my friend who helps with this stuff will probably leave it there... or maybe later fix it to be even less... there are still plenty of grounds for appeal. the judge didn't allow me to get representation my bloke was in court elsewhere that day ect...

even with all the messing around the car is still a bargain, if it saves $50-100 a week on fuel thats 25,000 to 50,000 a decade saved.
