    Dan's VW History

    Felt like it was about time I should start documenting some of my history with VW's, though its not particularly long or interesting.

    Was looking for my first car and after driving 10+ couldn't go past this 2L Bora.

    Reflex silver and in good nick, she was my baby.

    Too bad someone had other plans

    I was rear-ended and pushed into a truck on a rainy Thursday.

    Took a little while but patience paid off and I ended up with a much nicer V5 Bora.

    Drove it stock for a long while, then;
    Low

    ish

    Few small mods; interior bits and pieces, exhaust, some painting, headlight reconditioning and I just rolled my guards last week, so more lows soon.

    This is how she looked today after a good clean.

    To be continued

    So several hundred dollars later the V5 is running super smoothly. Time to enjoy her for a while.

    Unfortunately the Audi wheel I bought for it didn't quite fit, but eh, you win some you lose some.
