hey guys - bringing up an old thread here but I was at TMJ 4wd today (w'gong) and the guy there had never heard/seen of plasti dipped rims and didn't have any in stock anyway so he called up the plasti dip rep for me and the entire company has sold out (well, he has one black can) and there won't be another production run until Jan/Feb 2010!!!!

I'd suggest we try and procure a few cases of this stuff - i am up for at least 8-10 cans of this gear and would happily be part of a group buy for whomever has some stock left.

    Black Plasti Dip FTW!

Did you want it for your wheels or your badge?

i am about due to do my wheels again.. after getting my new tires fitted, they lipped the edge and have some small bits missing..

so you think they are sold out nationally? hmmm i might have to get some from OS then but will speak to TJM QLD and see what the go is...

TJM will laugh when you say you are painting your wheels to be honest.. i came back 3 days later and showed them and they thoguht i was the biggest legend and were then recommending it to customers and some of the staff decided to do it... full reversable so can go wrong.. stuff it up, let is dry and put it off.. start again..

oo shiny. I would say paint a bit of them white, but they'd get soo dirty.

You could go all hardcore with gt3 rs orange/green or something.

Gunmetal grey or shadow chrome would look sick as well.
