Mickey: Yep, Robin sent me new ones
99GTI: Yeah those tri spokes need to go though haha
I'll get some pics when the wheels come back from Wicked Wheels
Tri-spokes would look so hard on that thing! But Merc wheels the same
She looks really clean though, congrats on the pick-up.
congrats on the buy mate! welcome to the seat camp!
I had an 8v gti they hammer and will be reliable, cheap on juice.
ps im getting some down and out stickers made let me know what colour you want atm i have a black one on my car but im getting white ones made
Thanks boys. BTW: I had a Seat already earlier this year slammed on 16s which I swapped for the VR6 that I sold for a starlet, then the guy forgot to be at his house when he needed to so I bought this haha
Already got down n out stickers for this one so I'm sorted.
The wheels are gonna cost too much to get refurbed, so I'll either keep them looking a bit ghetto or I'll do it myself if I have some free time. Ye ye!
try find a cheap metal polisher and polish the lot it should only cost 80 per rim of just ride round on them how they are its just a daily what adaptors are you running?
I get Craig at Wicked Wheels to do cars that come past mine - he said 130 to do the centres (machine the edges where the bolts go, then repaint the centres), then the lips he'll do for 130 as well (that's what I gathered but I sorta just tuned out after he told me the first price haha)
So I'm looking at $520 up to $1040 if I'm getting the lips done as well
I really could do them myself but it's the CBF factor right now. I can't even be bothered taking off the centres...
Anyways, they're 4x100 so I'm just running 25mm spacer on the rear, 15 on the front. Looks ok but I'll see when the car is dropped with the wheels and TYRES which I still need to get.
