Love the shots, especially of the one in between all the pillars!

You've got a fantastic road to "commute" on as well... dammit I hate Sydney roads.

We have worse roads, and I'd put a large amount of money on us having more cops too! So they get to race around on sweet roads with less attention... Theirs is win win...BASTARDS!

    Eric...

If you are going to get an in car camera, do me a favour.

Drive up to Sheffield (from Devonport), and just before you get into Sheffield, turn right and head towards Mt Roland to Gowrie Park. Probably about 25 - 30kms along that road, there is a turn to the left (before you go down to the dam - Cethana?). Head up the hill....then you start hitting some hairpins....for those who like Tour de France...this is a mini Alp d'Huez. Nice lookout at the top.

Roads are Claude Rd, Cethana Rd, Olivers Rd. If you cross the face of Cethana Dam and go up the other side, you get to the Cradle Mt intersection. Turn right and it takes you back down the tableland to Forth. We used to do that run a lot when I was cycling (Sunday morning training session)

    Nike mate...just do it.

Steve i know exactly where your talking about. My parents live in Roland, just before staverton near lake barrington rowing course, so I know those roads fairly well . too well infact that I wrote off my first MK1 Golf on those roads. They just dont like loose gravel and rain lol

I love the roads here, like you said Steve, through Cethana, Cradle Mountain roads are fun too, and the back of Forth, etc...

police can be hard to find on the back roads of nowhere. they can and have been spotted in the most unpredictable places tho
