Allot of pics of both my B1 passats

OK guys and girls here we go, one all original Passat LS 1974 all original just sitting out in the weather waiting for somebody to show it some love. And then we got the Passat TS 1975 which is a one in a kind passat in my opinion, but ill let you be the judge of that.

Ok so first up is the white passat, the LS. This has been in the family for over 20 years and has retired for the past 10 years. It was running and driving around about a year ago, but then i slacked off on starting it up and now it doesnt want to start and the brakes are seized. (Nothing a lil bit of Start Ya Bastard cant fix). OK so here are some pics of the white passat LS could only take a few, cause the weather started to turn on me and the car has been turned into a storage facility, so taking pics of the interior would just mean you would just see allot of blankets and cardboard.

Ok now onto the the TS. This is my favorite, hradly see any 2 door passat B1, hardly see any B1 passats as a matter of fact.

    looking sweet mate

    do a 1.8t swap out of a B5 (?) Passat or a B5 A4. They are North South config!

Very nice Passats! The TS looks great. The 2 door ones are very rare! The interior is a retrim? It matches very nicely. Looks very professional too.

Your easiest gearbox conversion will be from a Audi 80 B2. I think the floorpan needs modification for this. You may like to check out some threads on 5 speed conversion on the "Dasher Owners Group" D.O.G. "Dasher" is what the Passat was called in the USA.

I have a Audi 80 Fox. Some other members may have seen it around

I love the TS. Looks really well presented. That's a lucky find I reckon.

    The Fox looks great too!

I'd happily drive either of these three cars any day.

Thanks for the info AlexV11, and thats a nice original Audi Foxx. And yes the interior is a retrim.

I think you are right IH8, it was a really lucky find. The pictures give the car no justice what so ever. I dont like to brag, but when you get up close and personnal with the TS and give it a run up in the windy tiny streets in the adelaide hills (since teh car was built for hill climbs), and you go around corners at 70km/h and it recommends 40km/h and all thats between yourself and a 100M drop into the gum trees is a little peice of sheet metal, and the car does not slide or give 1 inch and it feels as if it is on railway tracks, and the gutsy little engine is whizzing about, you find that you would not trade it for the world. Unless of course the world included more of these ahahah.

But the car was on carsales for about 6 months if not longer so anybody could have picked it up for a fair price. I guess it was just wating for me.
