    Pity the Passat isn't certified to run on bio diesel.

    i was under the impression they're only not guaranteed because aussie biodiesel is crap... the same reason they didnt bring diesels in for ages until we got some descent diesel standards. its only a matter of time before we catch up with the rest of the world dw

    I couldnt bring myself to run a new car on biodiesel, if i was to do it would defo be on something a bit more agricultural and less sophisticated that the new breed of TDi's had contemplated running my 99 freelander on it, but i had enough hassles with it without tempting fate any more.

    A company in aus was producing something similar and selling on ebay
    didn't look as flash and from memory about $1200.00 that was 12 month ago.

    does this actually work? i wonder what kind of quality is the fuel that comes out...

    The quality of the fuel that comes out is directly relative to the knowledge and effort that goes in.
