VW 2.0 Diesel tuners Sydney

Hi All, I'm sure this must have been discussed before but searching the forums has not got me what I'm after. Between myself and my wife we have 2 VW Passat Alltrack's, a 2015 and a 2018, both diesels. Both have lowish kms, as in 70k kms each, and I'm considering having one or both of them tuned, as in stage 1 type ECU tunes, and possibly DSG tunes. I like these cars, they tick a lot of boxes for us, but having had tunes in a WRX and Golf R in the past, I do like the extra power and torque, without hurting reliability. I've had a couple of Golf R's, one of which was tuned by Recode, it was very good and trouble free, not sure if they work with diesels. Any recommendations or experiences for tuners in Sydney for diesels would be much appreciated. Or pertinent forum threads.

For TDI tuning you will need to look at the European based tuners like Revo, EcoTune, Racingline OEM+ and Celtic Tuning.

I did my first tune with Jay from Zadtec, he is a top bloke and very knowledgeable. Totally recommend!

I used Laborde Motorsport in WA.

He sent me a control box that was used to load the tune to the car.

I used him as my TDI MK5 is old now, so I wanted something custom. He didn't up the boost, as the turbo had 250,000km on it at the time. Got 315,000km now and the car is still pulling hard.

I don’t know if either of these guys are near you, but they specialise in European diesels. Specifically Amarok’s.
Give them a call if they are close they certainly should be able to give you a reliable tune.

Ais I know people that have used their services and are very happy (4wd based customers)
Diamond mechanical are part of the same CRD group that have experience tuning euro diesels but I don’t know anyone that has personally used them.
