Who did the 'fix'?
Dealer?
Independent diesel mechanic?
I posted this thread in the Octavia forum: Used car advice 2007 Octavia 1.9 TDI Automatic
I am looking at buying a used 2007 Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI Auto, it's done 135 000km, the service log book has been kept up to date and the seller has replaced the timing belt at 100 000km, so that should be out of the way.
The car was written off over a year ago due to being run on petrol, but that was fixed and the car made roadworthy again about a month later. Will this have potential to cause issues in the future still? What would usually need to be done to fix a diesel car after it's run on petrol?
I was also advised to post here about my questions regarding what I should be looking out for in relation to the diesel system in the car.
Has anyone had any experience, or knows when I would need to clean the injectors or clean/replace the fuel pump?
Or are there other pitfalls I should be wary of?

Not sure who actually did the job, the current owner is a mobile mechanic himself, so I don't think he would have done it at the dealer.
