Towbar on a GTD

Hi Guys

Having taken delivery on my new GTD, I want to fit a towbar. Now before you all get upset, its just to tow a light trailer on occasions, but the fitters I've contacted so far say the rear diffuser will be a problem. Has anyone fitted one to either a GTD or a Mk6 GTI???

I havent done it personally, but I have definately seen a mk6 GTI with a towbar.

pretty sure you can buy a diffuser with the tow-bar cut out
