TDi oil filter part #'s

Hi All,

I have a few 071 115 562 C oil filters left from MK5 ownership. A bit of searching suggests that this part has been superceeded buy a two piece oil filter. I want to use these 071 115 562 C oil fliters in our 2011 MK6 Golf Wagon 103 Tdi.

They should fit I think - can anyone confirm one way or the other ?

Depends on your engine code, which you can find on a sticker on the plastic timing belt guard, or on the vehicle data sticker (located in the boot and also your service book). For your car, it should be a four digit code beginning with the letter C.

For CBDA and CBDB engines, use part number 071 115 562 C.

For CFHB and CFHC engines, use part number 03L 115 562.
