Thanks for that fellas, my priority is fuel efficiency and drivability and both are down here.
I'll probably go the DNA route now.
thanks again.

The Octy with DNA tune would still return under 5L per 100km on the freeway. Was ever so slightly better on fuel after the tune, providing your not to heavy footed on the go pedal.
In terms of driveability, all tunes are still retain smooth operation. Obviously if you put your foot down you will get everything in one hit, but driving around normally with light throttle there is no difference between tuned and not tuned really.
2012 Octavia vRS TDI. Darkside big turbo, 3bar tune, other stuff. 200kW/650Nm.
1990 Mk1 Cabrio. 1.9 IDI w/ 18PSI.
1985 Mazda T3500 adventuremobile. 1973 Superbug. 1972 Volvo 144 in poo-brown.
Not including hers...

Yep, just over the bridge from you too
AFR's being off would be unlikely as everything is pretty much locked. There is limp modes of course but that would be due to a hardware issue. Timing values vary depending on the level of tune but these are fixed too
Its all easily logged of course and I can do this anytime pretty much, if I'm not busy I don't bother charging either
PM me your number. It just doesn't seem as efficient as what it used to be. Maybe I'm just too used to it. Needs a fresh set of eyes.
