    Shock upgrade for a GTD

My Left Rear shock is leaking so the mechanic wants to replace them.
    What upgrades do people recommend?
    - Koni
    - Bilstein
are the only 2x i remember from my ET Pulsar days.

    Thanks all.

I have Koni's in my Mk6 GTI and they are good. I have the yellow (Sport adjustable) ones.

I had Konis on the front of an original Torago.....the LCV (fruit n veg) one.
Great on the heavy front but too stiff on the light rear, even when set to softest setting.

Hmmm, I just think that the price difference for OEM to something better is so close.
