Recall 23K2 applies to 103TDI (and possibly other) CR engines worldwide in many models across the VW range.

    Covered here:

I'm just about 100% certain that VAG arent selling any cars with PD engines anymore (unless you can still buy something with a 1.9).

After the mk6 golf came out, all the VW diesels are commonrail. Skoda's were sold with PD engines a little longer (getting rid of what engines vw had left i guess)

    ian, your car is PD.

Yep and it looks like the PD injectors are not part of this recall, this is a common rail thing only.

Bummer, still the injectors are being recalled in the UK at least.....

I got the recall letter friday (2009 mk6 2.0tdi) , dont know whether its a good thing or a bad thing at the moment ...

my 60k service is coming up and was hoping to get it done at a location other than the dealer, but my time shortage will probably mean ill get the two done at once.

Just booked mine in under the 23K2 Recall.
Earliest for a loan vehicle is the 22/03 though... (Highway VW).

I too have a MY10.5 Passat 125 TDI but haven't received any letter. I called the rather hopeless VW Assist line and the operator didn't know anything about a recall and on entering my VIN into their system said there was no mention against it so my vehicle was not affected by it. Does it effect 125TDI engines? I don't have much faith in calling my dealer about this has they have been pretty useless in VW knowledge.
