isnt the caletx vortex premium diesel the same as in Safeway servo's?
More opportunites have been lost from indecision, rather than wrong decision....
its not the origin of the diesel thats the issue, its the local storage usually.

With the 4 diesel vehicles in our family, we pay more than $4 per tank. It is good to know that when using BP Premium only, there is less chance that something will go wrong with the fuel system, because when your diesel car stops due to the fault in the fuel system then the minimum what it will cost you is your fuel filter and 1 hour of labor, tow track and maybe a taxi. You will need more than $200 for that.
As gldgti said, usually it si the fuel storage, that ruins the good fuel. The different fuel additives used by different fuel companies in the fuel can help to reduce the maintenance and extend the life of the injectors.
I'm happy not to use these supermarket vouchers.![]()

I've found Shell and Caltex (Caltex = premium) diesel to be fine. The Caltex did around 100k's more (over a 1,700km trip, vs 1,600 on Shell) but thats down to speculation as its over a 2wk period.
Of the two times I used United Fuels diesel, at two different locations, a few months apart, my Sorento required a new fuel filter.
One time, it left me in limp home mode in the Sydney CBD.
Was not impressed. Never again shall I ever use United.
