I have an 08 2.0TDI DSG with just 60000kms, and recently been running really badly, power coming in suges, no power low down and clunky gear chanes for 3 to 2 and 2-1 when braking, had done lots of searching on the threads here and nothing seemed to sound like what i was experiencing.
Car due for service next week so was going to get the mechanics to look at it and see what was wrong, i was thinking $$$$!
then earlier this week was really low on fuel and went to a different servo from my usuall (where I fill up 95% of the time, supermaket co branded one) and filled up, and now all of a sudden car is as good as new
Even power through out the revs, less smoke and clunky down shifts all seem to have disapeared? Is this me being wishful or could bad fuel really make the car feel so average?
I'd be interested now to know if anyone has similar experiences, but for the tim being I wont be going back to the Usuall!
