If I persist with cranking, I loose window regs and cruise control. Anyone else?

I've had issues with my FG Falcon (traded) which seemed to revolve about battery voltage .....reboot (neg lead off for say 10min) or new higher CCA battery would be the first steps with any BODY, ICE, HVAC etc problems. It costs nothing to try a reboot. (Obviously without key in ignition)

    Sorry for not updating guys.

Still have not done anything about this, it has not occurred for months now. Maybe trading soon anyway.
As I previously said would only fire after pushing on accelerator.

Would be interesting to see what the outcomes of others were.

I had the same symptoms as yours in my golf and as soon as I replaced the battery the problem was solved.

I’ve also had an ongoing issue with our 103KW BKD engine Golf.
It would start instantly every time when cold, but when hot it needed a bit more cranking.
As the months passed the amount of cranking required when hot increased to the point where it would not start at all, even after numerous attempts.
It seemed the engine was still being cranked at what I thought was a reasonable speed, although it turns out it was not fast enough.
As soon as I replaced the battery the problem disappeared.
I know it still has an issue with the cam angle sensor which will be replaced when the cam belt is done very soon, but I think the cam angle sensor must assist the starting when hot as the combination of a dud cam angle sensor and a battery that’s not so new is definitely a problem.
