And yes, it's sikaflexed in. Remember it has to handle both oil, and the hot engine bay temps. [/URL]
Did you try this place http://www.pirtek.com.au/ ?
They are in 5min drive from my office, I will visit them after I buy Provent.

Let me know how you go. I'm reluctant to sink any more money into the Provent install for now, and have quite a collection of hose and fittings that didn't work already!

Do you know that you could use the copper tubing to bent the exact shape pipes you need and use only small pieces of the silicon hoses to connect them.

I think I'm going to plumb it that spare Provent I have in our Golf and I post the pictures when finished.

The diesel fuel could be used for cleaning that inlet tract.
We used to use it as the degreaser in the old days.

At least it's not that explosive if it goes pearshaped!

Very easy to install in T5 no elbows needed just use silicon hose which is more flexible than rubber hose.
The bracket is fixed using existing threaded hole that also holds the added Anderson plug for connecting CTEK battery charger to charge the battery since I do many short trips during the day.
I know this is an old post but I've been scouring the web trying to find an image of the location for a proven t in a 2.5D T5 and this is the only reference I could find and the images seem to be missing in action.
Any chance of another link or reposting the pics?

I’ll check in my google drive. But, it’s very easy... on left side, kind of next to the battery and bracket attached to M6 bolt from the top.
