    Hey Jimmy

I will have a Dension Gateway Five for sale in the next few days if you're interested.

Gateway Five | iPod, iPhone, USB adapter & Bluetooth kit for car stereo

I upgraded because to a pro as I wanted DAB, but this will do BT streaming, calls, use the full phone menu on the RNS, iPod, USB, Aux In. So essentially identical to factory MDI and BT.

Added a sub to the car today. Attempted to do it myself via a kit from JB HI-FI way to hard when i started to take out the dash. Decided to head down to Northfield Moorooka and they did a perfect job and I lost almost no boot space Very Happy . Im really happy with the results.

Looks really good. What kind of sub is it and what size? was it custom made by Northfield or an off the shelf kit? Where is the amp, how did you get a signal to it? I assume you're still running the OEM head unit?
Must say that I don't like the Bass adjustment knob and where they put it - they could have installed that somewhere out of view.

It was custom made by Northfield, they said they get golfs in all the time from austral VW in brisbane. Im not sure of the size will have to check when i get home. The amp is under the front passenger seat out of sight, the guy said there is enough room for another one if i wanted to upgrade the front speakers as well. Im not sure what you mean by signal to it ( im and idiot with these kind of things). Still got my OEM headunit. Really the adjustment knob is awesome where it is im allways ajusting the bass for different songs, plus its really good if you listen to News on the radio can quickly turn it down to stop the drone in there voice.

Edit: Its a 8 inch sub
