    MKV G450 DPF sensors cost?

    Hi guys,

I've got a mate with a MKV GT TDI and his g450 DPF pressure sensor has died ( surprise ). He's been quoted $150 by the local VW dealer, who actually has to order it in. Hilarious, has to be one of the biggest turnover parts for that car, and I don't remember paying even half that much.

Anyway as I'm a snob in common rail land these days, and on the weird Skoda side, what is a g450 worth, and who has them available, the bloke needs one asap so his DPF can do a happy regen again.

    cheers!

Loads on Ebay Greg starting under $15. Assuming he can wait a week. There's money to be saved for sure.

Yeah for sure Gav, my only concern is non genuine rip-offs on such a crucial to your DPF health part.

Yeah, I'd probably not do a $12 one myself but one form Germany for $30 would be more like it.

I don't recall paying that much for one. Bought one as recently as 12 months ago, and it was around the $100 mark from Audi. Retail wouldn't be anymore than 10% on top of that.
