Not so pretty...Seems to do a good cleaning job though.
I thought it was a safe product for plastic induction manifolds.

What is being discussed here is a direct to DPF fluid. Then you have fuel additives, then you have intake cleaners. People are confusing them.
This 2 stage DPF cleaner is designed to go directly into the metal DPF can, not through the fuel, like a petrol additive ( which would not get your intake anyway - direct injection ). The only intake cleaners are the seafoam types, and the diesel specific one is fine for plastic.

Greg, isn't this a retail product, and as such, how would the average Joe get it directly to the can?.

Yep, ideally you want the super expensive wand and air setup, but so too just the fluids injected under pressure would work - via the top O2 sensor port, not a simple task, but easier than cutting it open and washing it out!

Any mechanic could handle it for you I reckon.

Yes it was the intake cleaner that ate my grill! Not DPF cleaner...

Inlets are nylon based, bumpers are plastic based.

I've never had any issue with the MAFF cleaners currently in the market.
