Hey cog, I took a leaf out of your book and made my own carbon airbox. I am pretty pleased with it so far. Just need to work on the way it scoops air at the front. It may look like a forge setup but it is probably 5cm bigger diameter and the filter is bigger and better also.

    Awwwwww, isn't it CUTE.

Thread's been quiet, but I've been busy....Water meth and EGR delete are virtually ready!

Just waiting on a certain someone to visit the post office, not mentioning any names, but hurry the fark up Preeny!

I ended up getting a few extra bits from Devils own, for as great as Snow gear is, forget any sort of international customer service! Been trying to swap out jets with them since MARCH as their kits come with US SUV sized ones....almost twice too big. Great and helpful when you actually get a reply, but be warned, it's frustratingly slow.

My QTP is now a anti shudder / runaway flap, and that's a full 2.5 " now fellas. The stock EGR flap at 1.9" is the single biggest restriction in the inlet apart from the turbo, in my very humble opinion. It's my home made "Allards" like Golfie mentioned earlier.

Anti-run on. Mainly for piece of mind should I ever experience "run away"!
Electric motor - google QTP exhaust cutout. Way to go.

    nice work greg.

I cant say I'd bother myself, its such a slim chance, and its an invention for the TDI clan anyway - i think theres so much squish with the IDi engines that it will hydrolock first.
