Clutching at straws mate, but yes it's air cooled, I'll give you that. Got whipped by a 4.2 TDI Q7 today, so keen to get back to the real tinkering - see the Audi section! Can't have a big ar$e 4x4 kicking my butt!!

Greg's MachineWorks. All agricultural machinery catered for.
Lawnmowers, GT Sport TDIs, tractors, combine harvesters, whipper snippers (actually, that last one is a bit close to home).

ANYHOO....The total loss Provent is as yet to be hooked up to something, to get rid of the vapours. Currently the blowby gas is dropping out after the engine, down low onto the road. No actual oil is coming out, which tells me the Provent is working well, but when you stop, well it smells very obviously of burning oil. Will have to put it into the exhaust somehow, but my thinking is I need to do it with some sort of one way valve, as under high flow, I may just push exhaust back into the Provent.

I'm happy there's no more oil vapour entering my inlet, but I need to come up with a way to burn it in the exhaust.

we could design up a venturie section of pipe so that its always sucking on the provent..vent.... i figure i'll need one too when i get a pro-vent on my mk3..
