Thanks guys, but it's not very exciting as yet, just a few extra holes and wires here and there. Next step is the water spray, then I'm into replacing the inlet plumbing, from the pod back. Now that am no longer thinking water intercooler this becomes a much simpler task.
I'm stuck with the stock MAF for now though, till I can get a custom tune for a 3" pipe. If I plug it into a larger inlet, more air will be flowing that it realises and it will be out.
Scan gauge looks flash polar, and a LOT more simple, but I can get these stock readings from VAG Com, and you're stuck to the standard sensor position. for instance there is no temp sensor between the turbo and the cooler, so you can't really test the intercooler directly. As much as a hassle as it is, I like to be able to put the probes exactly where they need to be. Oh yeah why the heck is your speedo in MPH polar, or are they pics from the net??
Next test will be the EGR addition!
