    those power gains are immense!!!!

    Im going to start looking around for a second hand GT TDI!

    Awesome, I figured the DPF was a major factor in restricting the engine.

    EDIT: Seems a stock GT TDI is worth 160ish kw / 420nm and a more modded one 178kw /460nm. All with ADDED fuel economy!


    Polar is SCREWED.

    i wonder how many of the powertrain engineers at VW left work and all got drunk together at the local the evening after the emissions guys bolted the DPF on?

    Agreed but Mischa and I were thinking about it some more.

    Can the drivetrain handle it? I wouldn't do it if I had DSG. Also the the clutch gonna wear out real quick?

    Also if I did it I would upgrade ALL of the engine mounts.
