And I still have "that guys" delete pipe, I should buy it given I've borrowed it for so long, and no it is only being used on the bench, not the car!

It's nice enough to put on the wall Greg. Look nice in the lounge!

Were you going to do this to your GT Greg?
Or don't want to get involved with the emissions fees :S

Was a long time ago, but despite the fact I can get a DPF delete tune overnight from Viezu, and have all the gear to flash it on, plus I've had Stormsharks DPF delete pipe for a few months now, it's not a route I want to go down. In my opinion making a clean diesel smokey isn't cool, plus I believe I can get all the power and economy benefits and stay close to zero soot with my high flow DPF experiment, if ever I manage to get my hands on the right core!!

And yes the potential fines, especially for a business are massive, so that killed any thoughts of cutting it out!

Building a better version of the DPF that never clogs nor needs regens, flows far better, and can then be used with the "delete" tune is my goal now. Will soot a little no doubt, but I reckon both Viezu and my long time championed Custom Code could clean that up. We shall see in due course.
