This DPF delete doesn't work on the Tig MY2010 103TDI? Sorry... Just a little bit new and confused.

    Hey Guys,

I found this thread and joined Watercooled because I am after a DPF solution.

I purchased a 2009 V10 Touareg in 2012 and a few years ago I had the DPF’s removed installed a new 3 inch SS exhaust and a DPF Delete tune that came from McChip-DKR.

The work was done by a company here in Perth.

The results were excellent but after a few months the engine warning light came on and I took it back where they fiddled with it and all was good again until the engine light came on again.

We went back and forth a few times and now those guys do not reply to my emails and I use a different local workshop to service my vehicle.

I am looking for another solution because I am annoyed by the constant need to clear the warning light issue and am not sure if the engine is running to its potential or even being damaged by this situation.

If anyone out there has a solution that works I would be very happy to hear from you.

I really like this thumper, it is fantastic to tow with and the pneumatic suspension is a joy. I would be loathe to get rid of it and would certainly not do so until I had sorted this out otherwise someone would be landed with the headache.

    Cheers

    Chris

It just depends on who did the work before, there's a few places that have done the McChip stuff (perhaps even the guys I deal with - Ramp ?) and I'm not that impressed with what is done in the ECU and particularly their TCU files. Maybe with other brands they are OK though.
I'm over there again in december but the guys have a full slave kit and this is how we do our work typically. Or I just sort it myself when I'm there with my own gear

    Mark
