I need to replace my intercooler after my turbo blew so rang VW and they quoted $380 for the unit and $240 for labour. Any suggestions regarding a better after market unit for the Mark 5 Golf.

Next bolt in step up is the alloy end tank S3 / Pirelli, then the penultimate APR beasty. Get on e-bay USA for a used S3???
Like Miro, I'm amazed the stock one is so inexpensive!!
A quick search showed eurojet in the USA have a S3 equivalent at mid $700 US, so it's about twice the price......
