I would regard 400K for a petrol and significantly more for a diesel, but I think we're living in the past if we think any modern car is going to be an economic proposition beyond 10 years and that's the spare parts timeline also.
The Europeans IIRC introduced 100% recycling for the very reason that cars are 'whitegoods' and the hyper tech is about boasting your placarded fuel consumption.
We're simply not meant to hang onto them, but the manufacturers won't admit it of course.
