    You can definitely get an SMF conversion, Darkside developments list all the parts.

    Thanks for the info, is going to an SMF recommended? If so why?

    Is this the correct kit, Darkside Developments - Valeo Single Mass Flywheel (SMF) & Clutch Kit for VW 02Q 6 Speed

    The other one is a "Sach's racing SMF" and it says it is not recommended for city driving.

    Also won't a SMF be really noisy and a lot of vibration on a diesel?

    I am pro DMF. Owners buy the SMF because its cheaper.
    Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.
