GLD water distribution pipe - help!

Hello everyone, & pleased to be a member of the VW Watercooled community.

I'll keep it brief.
I'm after the cooling (water) distribution pipe for a '79 Golf diesel.

I've tried sourcing one through numerous online suppliers, no luck.
A volks specialist here in Melbourne, told me that exact part wasn't available, but ordered me in a subsitute, didn't work.

I'm sure others must have encountered this problem.
Did you just locate a used one?
Did you bend up one your self or have it done for you?
Or did you manage to buy a new (OEM / Aftermarket) one? If so please tell me where.

My local man in Adelaide can get one for $42.15 +GST. His name is Dean Hoskin, for Imparts on [08] 82603667. He would need to get part from Melbourne, so talk to him about delivery direct to you.

Rang Dean, he was most obliging, & as you said he put me in touch with the Melbourne mob.

Alas the part is the same one I had been previously supplied with, all the bends are the same (it's part number 055 121 065M designed for the petrol model) it's has an additional outlet. Not a problem as it can be plugged but the issue is with the outlet to the expansion tank. The petrol version expansion tank outlet is obstructed by another water outlet from the diesel head.

Realise that the original part is no longer available so will just have to move the expansion tank outlet on the petrol version pipe. Was just being lazy & trying to avoid any additional work!!!
