im going to get the sportlines put in, and see how they go. my car has done 211k so i imagine my shocks are sagged a bit more than a car with 50 or so. i think the sports will be sufficient without breaking everything under there

It's really not as bad as you might think. Only over potholes will really notice it.

    ForceFed,
any chance you could take a photo of the rear of you car, i want to see how much spring i have to play with as in getting the springs reset. im thinking of keeping the sportlines as they are and resetting the factory springs 2.5" just for as you said it " wank factor"

then i can change them over as i please.

I posted this earlier but here it is again....You can see how much space you have to play with. Another inch maybe? You also need to take into account that the springs may sag after some time. Mine haven't yet.

Minor appearance tweak. In staying true to my un-colour coded black and white theme, I Purchased a new front grille from VW and painted it matte black to match the bumbers and side skirts.

Now for some ICE. The stock RCD300's inability to play MP3's was driving me absolutely insane, so it was time for an upgrade. I purchased an RCD310 from a forum member for $50 out of a brand new 2011 Polo GTI in mint condition. Add another $50 for the antenna adaptor required for the retrofit and voilą. Total investment, $100. Awesome!

    SPRINT BOOSTER

    Before Installation

What is a Sprint Booster? Well in a nutshell it's a piece of plastic that plugs into your accelerator pedal connector behind the accelerator pedal itself.

At first I must admit that I was a bit skeptical but I purchased it anyway.

Yeah, but what does it do? It turns your car into the beast that it should be. It does this by increasing your cars throttle responsiveness by reducing the DriveByWire (DBW) delay, and boy what a good job it does.

It will NOT make your car faster but it will make it an absolute pleasure to drive. It almost feels like your car has been tuned when it really hasn't. Don't know why Volkswagen wouldn't have the car performing like this straight out of the factory?

More information can be found here Sprint Booster

I'm not going to post installation pics because installation is that easy it's a joke. PLUG AND PLAY HARD.

IMHO, this has been the best bang for buck mod to date. But don't take my word for it. Another member from the "other" Volkswagen forum said:

Not having a Sprint Booster is like chopping off your right foot. Agreed.

Another member named it the Evil Black Plastic. Also agree.

Don't have one? For F*#K sake, buy it, plug it in and enjoy!!!

    After Install

Hi mate, just wanted to ask where you purchased your sprint booster from? Just looking for little mods to do to the tdi while i save up for bigger things
