Huge difference in stopping power. Definitely compliments the tune. I bought it from a forum member. Came with callipers, rotors, pads, and lines.

Another plus is how nice they look behind the wheels.

What a difference with the R32 brakes compared with tiny standard TDI ones.

    Wheels and brakes look great

Have you noticed much difference? Probably a silly question....
Callipers, rotors, pads... What else did you need to get for the upgrade?

I gotta' say, i love the white too. I tried to find a white Jetta but no dice...

That's what I was about to ask too
Are the standard tdi brakes the same as a gti, I was pretty sure they were?

I believe they are even smaller than the GTI brakes. I replaced the rears while I was at it with new standard rotors however I switched to ceramic pads.

I believe that the GT has the same size rotors as the GTI (312mm).
The rest have slightly smaller (288mm).

Correct. Which explains why he says its such a difference, going from 288mm to 345mm. I'll be fitting my Golf R brakes soon to my GT so will let you know if I feel any difference going from 312mm to 345mm.

Interested to know if there's a massive difference too. To be honest, my brakes are crap and will need replacing soon. More so the rears... Was thinking of just going with 312mm rotors on the front and stock rotors on the back. The 312mm front rotors are a direct bolt on with just new carriers (apparently)...

    Are your brakes mk5 r32's or mk6 r's?

Mine are MKV R32 and yes it has made a huge difference. Standard TDI brakes especially after a tune are ****e. Excellent upgrade.

LOL, ive already asked how they were. Going from 288 to 345 is a big jump!

I should have been more specific but i just wanted to clarify if Poyta's brakes were R or R32 brakes? Are they the same?

His are MKVI R Brakes. They are exactly the same though just different anti-rattle clips and calliper colour.
