Engine Mount Insert - Vibration unbearable?

I fitted one thousands of k's ago; it was awful and unbearable for about 1,000km and then suddenly it was amazing. Nearly no vibration and still all of the grip - turns out one of the "lugs" broke off the flat section!



Not that I'm saying you should mutilate yours; but it fixed all my issues!
I took it out a few thousand k's later and didn't run one for awhile - now I'm running a Superpro one (I think a 70d?) and I've raised the idle with VCDS to 850rpm. This time it remains intact, yet doesn't feel like a V8 Supercar!

I ended up having to just take it out, I have purchased a Diesel one but have not installed it yet (this one here https://www.powerflex.co.uk/road-ser...esel/1916.html)

Interesting about raising the idle, was that hard? can you link me to the guide? I have VCDS and the cable.

I can't remember how I did it - it was awhile ago. I didn't use a guide, just found it myself; all well and good when you have a technical background!
