Trouble is I want Ozishield protection AND DNA remap so logically paint comes first then budget for tune.
    Ta again.
I still maintain that paint protection is a gimmick. My car is nearly 3yrs old and looks like it just drove off the showroom floor. Give it a claybar, polish and wax to get it looking good, then wax it 2 or 3 times a year to keep it looking good.

My bad - i assumed it was paint protection. That clear film stuff is what you are talking about then. If so, then make sure the person applying it really knows what they are doing - ive seen some dreadfull applications of that stuff. The product is only as good as the person who applied it.

Yeah, there's only one applicator listed in Melbourne AFAIK so they should be well practiced.
Wonder whether anyone on this forum has had it done.

Yep, the 3M film which I assume is like that applied to the leading edge of the rear wheel arches.

    Similar but thinner I believe.

A few of my mates from my other forum have had it done & it works well.

There are a number of different brands available. A lot of the tint places do it as well as all the places that do vinyl wrap.

Thanks brad, I'll look into other outlets....wonder if it's the same 3M product or similar quality.....save going to Ringwood perhaps.

    I have no idea.

I wouldn't fit anything wth the name Aussie/Ozi in it anyway. I don't trust companies that blatantly appeal to nationalistic pride like that. Strangely, if they use the word "Australian" that's OK. (yes, I agree, it isn't a logical thought process)

Oops, getting off track a bit but to continue the trend I had a very close inspection of aluminium components, paint and rubber and for the life of me you would swear this 2yr old car had just come off the production line. It must have been v expensive storage.
