Diesel fuel additives for modern diesel.

Every time I met Morey's rep, I asked if the Morey's Diesel Smoke Killer was approved for use in CRD diesel with the DPF and finely Morey's updated their document on the net. The bottles in the shops won't probably mention the DPF but it is now in their data sheet. Morey Oil lubricant product details - MOREYS DIESEL SMOKE KILLER

So, I can finally start using it in our CRD TDI's wit the DPF.

Have been using it my DPF equipped PD for a while now

I've recently been using Fuel Doctors in my non DPF diesel but have been wondering if to use it in my new Golf (PDF equipped).

I have nothing against using additives, and have used many over the years but really wonder when you read claims like " can increase power up to 10 HP " I just see this as an invitaion for ridicule.

Obviously dont need the smoke killing feature with the DPF, but the other claims sound usefull.

Anything that helps to burn diesel with less soot, will extend the life of DPF and can save you $$$ in long run.

I use Morey's in my Tdi following recommndations from different diesel forums about its qualities especially algae inhibitor. It does seem to make the engine run smoother with a bit more kick when freshly added to the fuel. Use it with every tankful nowadays

Big fan of Moreys smoke killer, and Fuel Doctor or similar every ten thou or so.

Sounds like your Jetta injectors are dirty Ben.
