The key to a healthy fuel system and clean injectors is to use the additive 100% of the time. It's a big task for the "once in 15,000km additive" to clean the injectors in one hit.

The Penrite DPF Cleaner contains Cerium and should be a very good choice for the DPF equipped diesels.

As always read the instructions on the bottle.

Me too; however it is no longer available for retail sale (straight from the manufacturers mouth!)

I have now moved on to Moreys' Diesel Smoke Killer!

So now I'm confused.......Penrite OR Morey's OR both for my 22K TDI Yeti?
And where to buy at best prices?

I've moved the 2 stroke oil as an additive posts to its own thread, so please continue the conversation on the 2 stroke oil as an additive there.

Here is the link for your convenience. Adding 2 stroke oil to fuel - Interesting reading!!

Should this thread's title be changed to reflect that it is for diesel specific additives, only? (to prevent any other things like BD and WVGO being introduced)

That's a shame, it's the best diesel additive there is and cheaper than the others mentioned so far. The other thread doesn't mention diesel either.

Yeah, in your car owner's opinion.

I'll still stick to Morey's — and strangely enough it's cheaper than low ash 2-stroke oil.

More per litre, but you use less of it.

Well, yes but there are also many other car owners who agree. That's well documented throughout various forums.
The opinion of those that actually test the idea, in the real world, is worth more than the unqualified opinions of armchair critics.
