Buckled wheels

After a few weeks trying to work out the rumbling and vibration on my car the diagnosis is that the wheels are buckled. So what options have I got keeping the 14 inch diameter.

Or is there something else I should check before spending money on the wheels. Can 14 inch steelies be repaired?

just get sum after market rims, they'll look heaps better, if not u'll have to get another rim, cant repair them and if u could it wouldnt b worth it

also have u got them spun up on a balancer, or jacked the car up and run it in gear to see if it actually is the rims?? bad tyres with flat spots or damaged belts can cause similar problems, you may just need a tyre

Tyres have been balanced (only slightly out) and pressures checked, it was the tyre fitter that told be the rims were buckled. We had the car jacked up and ran it at 35 kph and 80kph, it's pretty clear either the front tyres or rims are out of true, and I have been quoted $100 each to fix on the Sunshine Coast. This comes after driving a brand new hire car for a month overseas, got back and realised the rattly diesel was a bit too rattly!
