    2007 VW1.9 TDI Polo - 105000kms service

Hi guys just need some advice regarding my Polo1.9 TDI 105k service due anytime now.

Is the water pump n timing belt replaced in this service or the 120k service???

Should the diesel injectors be cleaned at this service to extend their life or replaced??
What is the lifespan of the injectors ??

Fuel economy is still impressive with 5ltrs/100kms.

Pickup is still good with dark black smoke emissions under full throttle acceleration thru the gears especially 1,2&3.

I have used BP ultra low sulphur diesel for nearly 75,000kms and the remainder kms till date has been with BP Ultimate Diesel.

Till date I have never had the DPF regeneration light come on.

I average 65kms driving every day in city.

Looking forwards to your valuable inputs in this matter.

    Regards

    Jithen

Yes, belt and pump are due at 105,000km. Injectors are a case of ain't broke, dont touch, however there are a few good additives out there youcan pour in the tank to help them.

    Does it have a DPF?

I would assume so since the DPF symbol features during the dash warning lights light up when ignition switched on.

2007 + black smoke under accelleration should — and probably does — = no DPF.

Mate, as others said, belt due 105k/7 year. Injectors dont touch unless broke (very tempermental), no DPF = WINNING.

No DPF is one of the best things about the 9N3 TDi (along with the torque). If something happens to mine, I'll get another used one rather than something newer.

BTW JITHEN, Have you tried 2 stroke oil in yours?
