2 stroke oil (2SO) as an additive to diesel fuel

I've been using 2SO in my Bluemotion from DAY 1. No issues at all.

If it's worth doing, the sooner the better. I have read and experienced enough to convince myself but it's up to everyone to make their own choice.
I like diesels for the torque and economy. Petrol engines last so long these days they might be a better choice long term, especially with their relative simplicity and improving economy.

I'm tempted by the 2016 Focus RS for a bit of practical fun.

We have a second car with an engine that literally blows my mind.
In every sense it's a diesel that burns petrol.
Its a mere 1.2 turbo triple siamised wet sleeve all aluminium 96kw 230nm Peugeot 308 with an Aisin 6 speed with automated clutch which give 20km/L (5L/100km) over its 11,500km so far.
I'm staggered with max torque at 1750 (95% fm 1500)......it never drops out of 6th on motorway hills, just like a diesel and journos don't have a clue.
No wonder Peugeot are reported to be withdrawing diesels from Australia.
For me, a diesel is now for towing only.

Just looked it up and it looks like a good car and another example of why buy a diesel these days?

Im still looking for 'hero' km stories without any issues involving a CR engine.
